Gotham Central Book Two: Jokers and Madmen by Ed Brubaker, Greg Rucka, & Michael Lark.
An exceptionally well written and illustrated book following the GCPD. All of its parts work together flawlessly and make for an intriguing and engaging read, greatly improving on the first book (excluding the arc around Renee Montoya because that’s one of the best stories in comics). There are a couple of cameos from Batman and Huntress, but the majority of the content revolves around the detectives solving cases and their personal lives. Impressive work. It’s like reading Law & Order but better.
